Instructions

Cable Preparation:
  • Strip the RG59U coaxial cable to expose the inner conductor and shielding. Typically, strip approximately 6 mm of the outer jacket and 4 mm of the dielectric.
Fit the Connector:
  • Slide the crimp ferrule onto the cable. Insert the stripped cable into the BNC connector body, ensuring the inner conductor fits into the center contact and the shielding makes contact with the connector body.
Crimp the Ferrule:
  • Using a crimping tool compatible with BNC connectors, crimp the ferrule onto the connector. Ensure a firm crimp to secure the connection and maintain signal integrity.
Check the Connection:
  •  Verify the connection by gently pulling on the cable and connector. The connector should be securely attached to the cable.
Final Inspection:
  • Inspect the assembly to ensure there are no exposed wires or loose connections. The final installation should be neat and provide a reliable connection.
